This leaves the feeling of a huge wall of text. The pictures are extremely small compared to the text and very few and far between. Unfortunately, this portion hurts the textbook the most. The writing is clear, but a lack of formatting and pictures makes the textbook feel like a huge wall of text which will be difficult for students. I did like the intro stories in the beginning of each chapter which also helps relate the material, but it needs more pictures to be engaging. Seems accurate, but could use more examples especially of more difficult concepts. Generally the gen chem section was good, but was shockingly sparse in gas laws. This might be appropriate if you were covering the entire book in one quarter, but not suitable for a full year GOB series. I felt like this book is a basic outline of a GOB course, but felt lacking in many areas.
